Nook values intellectual property rights and expects Users to do the same. All content provided by Nook and its Users is protected by international copyright laws. While Hosts and Roommates retain ownership of their content, they grant Nook a license to use and display it for platform-related purposes.

Nook's trademarks are protected by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) of the Republic of Indonesia, and unauthorized use is prohibited. Users must respect third-party intellectual property rights and refrain from infringing on copyrights. Downloading content from unofficial platforms or non-mobile devices violates Nook's Intellectual Property Rights and Terms. Users are encouraged to report infringements, and Nook reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including account suspension or termination. It's essential for users to stay informed about these rights, as Nook may update or modify them periodically.

Ownership of Content

Nook respects intellectual property rights and expects the same from its users. All content provided by Nook, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Nook or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

User-generated Content

As a Host or Roommate on Nook, you retain ownership of the content you create and share on the platform. However, by providing content, you grant Nook a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, and transferable license to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, and display the content solely for the purposes of operating, promoting, and improving the Nook platform.

Nook's Trademark

The trademarks, service marks, and logos ("Trademarks") used and displayed on Nook are registered and unregistered Trademarks of Nook. Users may not use any of Nook's Trademarks without prior written permission. All registered Trademarks of Nook are protected by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) of the Republic of Indonesia. Unauthorized use of Nook's Trademarks may constitute trademark infringement and unfair competition under applicable laws.

Use of Third-party Content

Nook respects the intellectual property rights of third parties. Users are responsible for ensuring that any content they upload or share on the platform does not infringe the intellectual property rights of others. If Nook is notified of a copyright infringement, we may remove the infringing content and take appropriate action against the user responsible.

Downloading from Unofficial Platforms

Users agree not to download or attempt to download content from Nook using unofficial platforms or non-mobile devices. Unauthorized downloading violates Nook's Terms and Intellectual Property Rights and we have the right to take appropriate action against the user responsible including account suspension and/or legal action. Users are encouraged to access and use Nook's services through official channels and supported devices.

Reporting Copyright Infringements

If you believe that your copyright or intellectual property rights have been violated on Nook, please contact us promptly. Include detailed information about the alleged infringement, including the specific content in question and the basis for your claim. Nook will take appropriate actions in accordance with applicable laws.

Consequences of Violation

Violations of Nook's Intellectual Property Rights may result in account suspension or termination, removal of infringing content, and legal action as deemed necessary. Users are expected to respect the rights of others and adhere to these Intellectual Property Rights.

Modifications to This Intellectual Property Rights

Updates

We may update this Intellectual Property Rights periodically. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated guidelines on Nook or through other communication channels and update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. If you disagree with the revised Intellectual Property Rights, you can cancel your Account. If you do not cancel your Account before the date the revised Intellectual Property Rights becomes effective, your continued access to or use of the Application  will be subject to the revised Intellectual Property Rights.

The effective date of the most recent version of the Intellectual Property Rights will be displayed at the top of the page at the “Last Updated” section.
