Nook is the first online platform to match roommates without accommodation based on their living preferences and values, facilitate convenient group booking for their ideal homes, and split the payment automatically all in one space.
How does Nook work?
Users create profiles and specify living preferences, then browse for ideal homes. They can either create a new group ('nook') or join existing ones to find suitable accommodations. Inside the nook, users see match percentages with potential roommates and can engage in discussions in the chat room. To book a place, users collectively cast votes, and once everyone has voted, they complete their shares of the payment. Once all payments are received, the booking is confirmed.
Is Nook available only in specific regions?
We are currently available in Bali, Indonesia. But we are aiming to expand to other regions, to address universal challenges in the roommate search and accommodation booking processes, making it applicable to young individuals facing housing crises globally.
